It is a cattle ranch that has its origins in the year 1969 located on the transisthmian highway Coatzacoalcos salina cruz km 124 of the Nuevo Morelos neighborhood, municipality of Jesús Carranza Veracruz, founded by Mr. Manuel Iturbe Villegas who is originally from the municipality of Amacuzac Morelos who in In search of improvements for his livestock and the well-being of his wife and eleven children, he decided to settle in this municipality of Jesús Carranza Veracruz, dedicating himself to livestock in its principle of commercial cattle.

Our history

In the year 1969, the Rancho el Redentor cattle ranch was born, registering in the local cattle association of Jesús Carranza belonging to the regional cattle union of southern Veracruz. Years later, in 1978, he acquired a batch of 18 first-rate heifers that consolidated his breeding of black sardin, which over time was complemented with other batches until forming a pure herd of 70 bellies. And the acquisition of stallions from Don Alfonso Gómez Huesca's farm, which were the pillars of his livestock.
Subsequently, on November 26, 1990, he entered as active member 1213 of the Mexican Association of Zebu Breeders, registering animals uninterruptedly until today. Since its first outing on the slopes at the first international zebu show in 1991, held in Acapulco Guerrero, Manuel Iturbe Villegas' cattle ranch obtained its first three championships as a result of discipline and optimal selection, in 1992 at the XXIX National Show in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez Chiapas is awarded nine championships, in 1993 he obtained three championships in the Regional Livestock Show of Veracruz; Also in the same year, his livestock acquired eleven championships in each of the competitions in the III International Show of the Mexican Zebu and in the XXX Mexican Zebu Show, and in the year 1994 in the IV International Show of the Mexican Zebu held in Villahermosa. Tabasco wins four championships.

On May 27, 1995 Mr. Manuel Iturbe Villegas passed away, giving continuity to his career his wife and children who with great passion and in the name of Mr. Manuel his father his son Jaime Guillermo Iturbe Medina consolidated the ranch of Rancho el Redentor by using of improved pastures, controlled grazing, selected wombs and controlled mating such as direct mating, artificial insemination and embryo transfer. Rancho el Redentor cattle ranch has very selected stallions and bellies.

Recently at the II World Congress of Tropical Livestock, held in Tampico Tamaulipas in February 2015, within the framework of the LIII Ordinary General Assembly of the Mexican Association of Zebu Breeders; His son Jaime Guillermo Iturbe Medina receives the Silver Giba Medal for being an active member, registering specimens uninterruptedly for twenty-five years and obtaining multiple championships in different shows and exhibitions.

Enrique Peña Nieto, receives his son Jaime Guillermo Iturbe Medina, for his great contribution and drive of Mexican livestock.
